STANDARDS FOR REMANUFACTURING CONTROL

All control undergoes the following CASEY Remanufacturing Process.

1. The control is disassembled and all contactors, control wiring and motor bus are removed and the sub panel is removed from the enclosure.

2. The sub panel and enclosure are sandblasted and repaired.

3. The enclosure is primered and painted gray, and the sub panel is primered and painted white.

4. The contactors, under-voltage relays, plugging relays, overload and knife switches are disassembled and the following work is performed:

     a. All pins and bushings are checked and repaired or replaced as needed.
     b. All auxiliary contacts are checked and repaired or replaced as needed.
     c. All coils are tested for the proper OHM value.
     d. All parts are cleaned using the required cleaning procedure for each particular part.
     e. All parts are painted or insulated as required.
NOTE: All worn or damaged parts are replaced with new parts.

5. All contactors, under-voltage relays, plugging relays, overloads and knife switches are reassembled and new contactor tips are installed.

6. All contactors, auxiliary equipment and motor bus work are remounted on the sub panel per the original equipment manufacturer's design or modified to suit the customer's requirements.

7. New control wire is provided to rewire to the original manufacturer's drawings or to suit the customer's requirements.

8. All wires, bus and contactors are labeled with wire markers or tags.

9. Each panel is connected to a test motor and resistor banks for final inspection and testing to check:

     a. the proper contact sequence
     b. motor bus circuit
     c. timed acceleration
     d. safety device operation, under-voltage relays, plugging relays, LSR, etc.

10. The control is prepared for shipment.

All panels are provided with wire schematics and diagrams. Master switches are provided upon the customer's request and are labeled, identified and match marked to match the control wiring. Resistors are meggered, cleaned, painted, labeled and wired. Resistors are assembled in racks at the customer's request. Each control panel is identified with corresponding resistors and master switches to provide minimal installation time.
