CONTROL EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Upgrading control panels on a DC crane can be disruptive to on-going operations. To minimize downtime to customers, Casey offers remanufactured packages from name brand manufacturers such as Square D, Cutler Hammer, Clark/Sylvannia, Hubbel, etc. Packages consist of resistance, control panels and master switches. Casey control packages arrive with pre-wired resistance in racks; overloads set for proper motor ampacity and master switches sequenced for proper operation. Casey’s control packages are offered with a one year warranty at below market prices.

Once the rebuilt control is installed, customer’s may elect for Casey to rebuild their old controls.

Casey will arrange to pick up the used controls and have them shipped to an in-house rebuild facility in Dorseyville, PA where the equipment is inspected. A firm price quote for remanufacturing is then developed and presented to the customer. Price quotes are given in terms of a capped, or “not to exceed” structure, eliminating any surprise costs. Participants in the Control Exchange Program receive superior quality service at below market pricing.

The pricing categories of this program are as follows:

1. Disassembly and Inspection

This is the basic cost to partially disassemble and inspect the controllers to determine a firm cost to remanufacture the equipment.

2. Pricing Cap (“Price not to Exceed”)

The pricing cap or “not to exceed” pricing structure was developed to assure the customer that cost guidelines exist for remanufacturing a standard control panel. The only exceptions to this pricing structure, which are quoted separately as extras, are those controls supplied to Casey with major enclosure damage, missing components, or contactor damage.

In addition to the Control Exchange Program, Casey stocks a large inventory of remanufactured components such as contactors, resistors, overloads, timers, and other spare parts to ensure prompt delivery to customers.

Similar programs are available for DC crane motors, hoist limit switches, magnet controllers, magnetic shoe brakes and lifting magnets .
